Different versions of the logo were designed to be used across a wide range of media. The KU logo works best by using one color on a contrasting background. For example, using the navy logo with a white background or the white logo with a navy background. Colleges and work centers are prohibited from designing separate logos. Instead, colleges and work centers may use the sub logos which drew inspiration in their design from the original Kuwait University logo.
